Job summary

MyCareerCraft is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Permanent) to support O&M and ensure safe, compliant maintenance of electrical and solar systems in the East Rand. The role emphasizes fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance scheduling, and timely technical reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in fault finding, system integration and solar installations.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical faults on electrical and solar systems
• Support and coordinate preventative and planned maintenance
• Help reduce downtime by identifying risks early
• Complete technical reports and root cause analysis when required
• Monitor equipment performance and assist the maintenance team
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards (including ISO requirements)
• Assist internal teams and clients with technical queries
• Work within agreed SLA timelines
