Job summary

Placements24 client in Benoni, Gauteng, seeks a Nanny and Child Development Facilitator to care for two children aged 3 and 5, providing a safe, nurturing, and intellectually stimulating environment. You will design and implement age-appropriate learning activities, manage daily routines, prepare nutritious meals, arrange outings, and maintain open communication with parents.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional childcare experience with preschoolers.
• Ability to create and implement structured learning activities.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong understanding of child development and educational best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy; able to provide professional references.
• Reside in or willing to relocate to Benoni, Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and loving care for two young children (ages 3 and 5).
• Design and execute engaging educational programs, incorporating play-based learning and creative arts.
• Develop and prepare nutritious meals and snacks, catering to specific dietary needs.
• Manage daily routines including nap times, meal times, dressing, and hygiene.
• Ensure a secure, clean, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and play.
• Facilitate positive social and emotional development through interaction and guidance.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents regarding the children's progress and daily activities.
• Organize and supervise age-appropriate outings and recreational activities.
• Document key developmental milestones and learning achievements.
