Placements24 is assisting a professional family in Benoni, Gauteng, to find a dedicated full-time nanny for two children aged 2 and 5. The role requires nurturing, proactive care, and a focus on early childhood education through play and activities.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of nanny experience, strong knowledge of child development, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. CPR/First Aid certification is mandatory, and relocation to Benoni is welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience with toddlers/preschoolers.
• Strong understanding of child development stages and educational best practices.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; First Aid/CPR certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional daily care for a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old.
• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational activities, games, and crafts.
• Prepare healthy and balanced meals and snacks for the children.
• Oversee hygiene routines, including bathing and dressing.
• Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times within and outside the home.
• Manage nap schedules and routines.
• Maintain a clean and organized play area and children's living spaces.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding development and concerns.
• Transport children to and from preschool and activities as needed.
• Foster a positive and nurturing environment that encourages learning and development.
