Placements24 is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to oversee our thriving preschool operations in Centurion. You will lead a team of educators, ensure high-quality early childhood education, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

The role focuses on strategic educational leadership, staff development, admissions, and maintaining excellent relationships with parents and guardians to support a nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a childcare setting
• 3+ years in a supervisory or management role
• Knowledge of ECD legislation and curriculum frameworks
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in administrative software and record-keeping

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and inspire a team of childcare professionals, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement a high-quality, age-appropriate curriculum aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations, conducting regular audits.
• Manage daily operations, budgeting, resource allocation, and facility standards.
• Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, addressing concerns and fostering community engagement.
• Oversee admissions, enrollment, and administrative processes.
