Job summary

DO MORE Placements in Cape Town seeks an Accountant (NQ SAIPA) to join the Southern Suburbs team. You will manage monthly reconciliations, debtors, VAT, income tax and ad valorem tax submissions, and assist with the external audit.

The role offers broad exposure across accounting, reporting, taxation and cross-functional finance, with ownership of key processes and collaboration with HR and other departments.

Qualifications

• Recognised tertiary qualification in accounting or finance.
• Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles beneficial.
• Experience with VAT and taxation submissions.
• Proven ability to prepare balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Manage debtors function, receipts, reconciliations and follow-ups.
• Assist with annual external audit and audit schedules.
• Calculate and submit VAT, Income Tax and Ad Valorem tax returns.
• Collaborate with HR on finance-related matters and incentives.
