Job summary

DO MORE Placements in Stellenbosch, South Africa, seeks an NQ SAIPA/CIMA Accountant to join a hands-on finance team. The role involves collaborating with senior leadership, delivering management accounts, and driving process automation to improve financial reporting and decision-making.

You will build data-driven insights, manage payable cycles, and support cross-functional projects, gaining real commercial exposure and shaping how the finance function evolves.

Qualifications

• Degree and/or Postgrad in Finance
• Newly completed articles in CIMA/SAIPA/SAICA are required
• Strong grounding in financial and management accounting

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
• Performing financial and variance analysis across entities and business units
• Monitoring profitability, burn rate, and working capital performance
• Building data-driven reports to support strategic decisions
• Improving accounting tools, dashboards, and reporting processes
• Identifying automation opportunities and efficiency gains
• Managing accounts payable, payment runs, and debtor reporting
• Supporting cross-functional projects and ad hoc analysis
