Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand is hiring a DC Inventory Stock Controller to ensure continuous replenishment across bins in the warehouse. The role focuses on accurate cycle counting, stock integrity, and adherence to SOPs to meet customer needs.

Key duties include replenishment with scanner use, documenting discrepancies, and supporting efficiency projects. It requires Grade 12 and relevant distribution experience, with advantageous logistics qualifications.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or Senior Certificate with English and Mathematics.
• Advantageous: Supply-Chain or Logistics Degree or Diploma.
• 2 years relevant experience in a Distribution, Logistics or Supply Chain environment.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for ensuring accurate replenishment is performed on a regular basis.
• Follow replenishment process within the department and use a scanner.
• Maintain stock accuracy and system updates, including batch numbers.
• Assist with implementing and optimizing projects to improve efficiency.
• Ensure warehouse racking and storage utilization is optimized.
• Report stock integrity issues to Inventory department.
• Maintain housekeeping and adhere to Dis-Chem policies and SOPs.
• Be willing to rotate shifts and perform other department functions as needed.
