Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand seeks a DC Inventory Clerk to ensure replenishment and continuous cycle counting in the warehouse, maintaining stock integrity and accuracy aligned with SOPs and customer needs. The role focuses on FEFO, stock issue resolution, and daily reporting to management.

The position requires a relevant Supply-Chain or Logistics qualification and 2 years' experience in distribution or logistics.

Qualifications

• Supply-Chain or Logistics degree or diploma is preferred.
• 2 years relevant experience in distribution, logistics or supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and initiate continuous inventory and annual stock counts.
• Ensure accuracy of counts and process counts according to SOP.
• Prevent, analyse and act on shrinkage indicators and adjustments.
• Maintain stock rotation based on FEFO (first expiry, first out).
• Resolve stock issues and errors; update stock reports as required by management.
• Ensure optimal planning and forecasting of department resources.
