Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ Distribution Centre in Midrand is seeking an Inbound Supervisor to lead Receiving, Returns, and Pack-Away to meet legal and customer requirements. You will oversee accuracy of receipts, ensure stock matches invoices, and support the receiving manager with claims and documentation.

The role requires Grade 12 and 1 year in a distribution/logistics setting; advantageous: Supply-Chain degree/diploma and pharmaceutical warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12 / Matric with English and Mathematics.
• 1 Year relevant experience in a Distribution, Logistics or Supply Chain Environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure receiving verifies, scans and captures goods receipts per policy.
• Validate quantities received match invoices.
• Double-check all handling units (HUs) before pack-away.
• Assist receiving manager with warehouse claim processes.
• Despatch returns on presentation of a pickup slip per policy.
• Accept and be accountable for all goods received; keep records up to date.
