Job summary

Hatch in Johannesburg, South Africa is seeking a Night shift Site E&I Supervisor to oversee construction contractors and manage project performance on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role requires leadership of site teams, strong communication, and adherence to EP CM processes.

Qualifications

Technical degree or equivalent years of supervisory experience required for a leadership position.
Minimum five to ten years onsite experience on major projects.
Strong leadership and the ability to motivate and lead discipline-focused site teams.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Broad knowledge of the EPCM model of project delivery including disciplines.

Responsibilities

Oversee supervision and administration including supervision of contractors and subcontractors.
Coordinate design deliverables to support efficient construction.
Communicate deficiencies and non-conformance to the Construction Manager.
Assist with site administration and record keeping per the Construction Execution Plan.
Assist with estimating, scheduling, cost control and reporting for contractor work.
