Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Civil Supervisor for a 12-month fixed term contract in Johannesburg, South Africa. The role oversees construction activities, coordinates with contractors, and ensures safety, quality, schedule and cost compliance on the assigned scope.

Qualifications

• Technical degree/diploma or trade qualifications and equivalent years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and administer construction activities for assigned portions of the project.
• Ensure contractors work safely and adhere to health, safety and environmental rules.
• Assist in coordination of design deliverables to support construction.
• Communicate deficiencies and non-conformances to Construction Manager.
• Assist with site administration and record keeping per the Construction Execution Plan.
• Assist with construction estimating, scheduling, cost control and reporting.
