IZI South Africa, located in Westville, Durban, seeks an experienced Cash Processing Centre (CPC) Manager to lead centre operations, ensure compliance, manage people, and drive risk-aware profitability. The role demands night shift willingness and strong leadership across finance, HR, and safety functions.

You will oversee day-to-day CPC operations, monitor performance, manage budgets, and ensure SLAs with customers, while maintaining SARB and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Cash Processing Centre.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, contractual obligations, and relevant legislation.
• Oversee reconciliations and authorisation of EFT payments.
• Ensure employees have the appropriate tools and equipment to perform their duties effectively.
• Monitor operational performance and provide accurate reporting.
• Ensure compliance with SARB requirements, Health and Safety standards, security, HR, finance, and risk procedures.
• Lead, manage, motivate, and develop CPC employees.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and effective workforce planning.
• Manage budgets, wages, overheads, and operational costs.
• Identify training and development needs and support succession planning.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and manage employee performance.
• Address disciplinary matters appropriately and maintain constructive employee and trade union relationships.
• Promote high standards of professionalism, accountability, and housekeeping.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and retention.
• Ensure adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Investigate and resolve customer queries and complaints effectively.
• Monitor and implement measures to prevent and reduce operational losses.
• Ensure employees adhere to cash processing, security, and risk procedures.
• Maintain accurate audit records and effectively utilise company systems.
• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Report, investigate, and follow up on safety-related incidents.
• Participate in safety programmes and communicate relevant safety information to employees.
