Job summary

The Vineyard Hotel is seeking a dedicated Night Front Office Ambassador to ensure exceptional guest service on the night shift. You will manage arrivals/departures, handle check-ins/outs, and support the Night Audit while maintaining hotel standards.

You will also respond to guest inquiries, process reservations and payments, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are prepared. A hospitality qualification and Opera knowledge are required, with strong interpersonal skills and a calm,

Qualifications

• Hospitality-related tertiary qualification (NQF Level 5).
• Experience in a 4* hotel front desk, guest services or customer service role.
• Knowledge of hotel management systems or booking platforms (e.g., Opera).
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage night check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Assist Night Audit and security functions while upholding hotel standards.
• Handle reservations, amendments and cancellations in the PMS.
• Liaise with housekeeping/maintenance to ensure room readiness and issue resolution.
• Process payments, post charges and assist with night audit tasks.
• Provide guests with information on hotel services and local attractions.
