Job summary

Craven Cottage CC in Gauteng is seeking an experienced Night Audit Supervisor to manage overnight front desk operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will oversee check-ins/outs per SOP, post charges, reconcile accounts, and lead a small night team with integrity and attention to detail.

• 2–3 years of hotel front desk supervisory experience with cash handling.

Job description

Duties:

• Operational and guest service responsibilities
• Night audit and financial responsibilities
• Security, safety and compliance responsibilities
• Supervisory / leadership responsibilities:
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of the night audit, end-of-day procedures and financial reports.
• Perform check-in and check-out procedures according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Post room and conference charges to respective folios accurately and on time.
• Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts as per SOP.
• Verify that all charges posted from restaurant, bar, Micros / POS and SPA have reached the correct guest folios and that no dockets are missing.

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of hotel front desk supervisory experience, experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks.
• Previous night audit experience and exposure to hotel financial reporting will be an advantage.
• Well-developed communication and customer relations skills.

• High level of customer service and maintain a high profile in the day-to-day front office operations.
