The successful candidate will join a centre of expertise that bridges local and global linguistic fields, supporting rigorous research and teaching in Afrikaans and Dutch literature, linguistics, and applied disciplines with an emphasis on multilingualism and professional communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Afrikaans Language Learning
• Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Language Practice, as required by the Department

Programme Structure

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 70% pass mark in the MA degree
• Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
• South African citizenship
• Age under 40 years
