New Business Account Executive required in Cape Town.
Opportunity for a New Business Account Executive has become available at one of South Africa’s leading express courier companies.
To secure new business accounts as per sales target by marketing and selling the company’s services within the geographic boundaries of South Africa.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent,
- 4– 5 years’ experience in a new business focused position
- Degree in sales or marketing preferable
- Sales concepts training (SPIN, GAP and consultative selling processes)
- Experience in sales or customer facing/engagement, with a proven track record in achievement of monthly new business targets
- Preferably have experience in the courier industry and the e-commerce markets
- Knowledge of business principles (i.e. financial, operational, customer experience)
- Driver’s license with own reliable transport
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtaining New Business via Cold Calling, Tenders, Proposals and Sales Presentations to ensure Sales Targets are met/exceeded
- Strategic Account Planning, Opportunity Creation and Qualification
- Adhere to the Company Product Strategy when acquiring New Business
- Executive and Stakeholder Composition with Value Proposition Design
- Utilize Marketing Data to maximize Sales effectively and efficiently
- Optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the achievement of Sales Targets
- Present financially viable “Return on Investment” products / feedback to potential new Clients
- Optimize Customer Service Levels by managing new business client’s expectations and interactions in a professional manner (internal and external clients)
- Account management and development of customer accounts and to maintain favorable relationship with customers to achieve goals/budgets/targets
- Exceed monthly new business sales target
- Sell the Company’s services to all customers within the targeted sectors of South Africa and uncover niche markets and suggest new products
- Ensure that the account is secured in its entirety i.e. maximum potential share of wallet
- Negotiate customer rates in line with company objectives
