Job summary

Au Pair Extraordinaire in Claremont, Western Cape, seeks a dedicated Facilitator to support a Grade 4 learner with dyslexia, ADHD and autism. The role involves individualized learning support, helping with classroom content, and reinforcing school accommodations.

You will collaborate with teachers, school support staff and therapists to provide a consistent, compassionate approach, maintain boundaries, and foster independence and self-advocacy.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting neurodiverse individuals (Dyslexia/ADHD/Autism).
• Able to drive with 18+ months driving experience.
• At least 12 consecutive months formal child caring experience, within last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised learning support to a Grade 4 learner with Dyslexia/ADHD/Autism.
• Help her understand class content and engage with schoolwork.
• Reinforce school accommodations and support organisation and task management.
• Collaborate with teachers, school support staff and external therapists to maintain consistency.
