Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a vigilant Cybersecurity Analyst specializing in Network Security to join our IT and Software team in Richards Bay. You will protect the organization's network infrastructure, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents.

You will perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, implement security controls, and develop incident response plans while promoting security best practices and awareness across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity focusing on network security.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic and security logs using SIEM tools.
• Investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and network penetration testing.
• Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Develop and update security policies and incident response plans.
• Provide security awareness training to employees.
