We are searching for an experienced National Sales Manager at our Grayston Drive Sandton facility.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The National Sales manager is responsible for driving defined revenue and profit through effective control, planning, direction, and coordination of several regional aspects of the organization and delivering exceptional customer service through the face‑to‑face execution of several regional plans.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Sales
- Develop and implement national sales and business strategies aligned to organizational objectives.
- Set and monitor regional sales targets, ensuring consistent execution across all provinces.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Drive market expansion, product penetration, and overall business growth.
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations across all branches and departments.
- Review and improve sales and operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor key performance metrics to ensure productivity and alignment with business goals.
Financial Oversight
- Prepare sales forecasts, manage national budgets, and monitor financial performance.
- Analyze income statements and financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements and support strategic planning through financial forecasting.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional and departmental managers to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high‑performance culture.
- Support employee development and succession planning initiatives.
Client & Stakeholder Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Represent the business at industry events and ensure value from stakeholder engagements.
- Drive customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining service excellence.

Education & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or management or a related degree or study would be advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management sales role.
- A proven track record of successfully managing national operations.
- Willingness to travel extensively and frequently throughout the different provinces of South Africa.
- A strong network in the Retail and Petroleum sector would be advantageous.
