Job summary

Röhlig & Co is seeking a Regional Sales Manager- Solutions to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and lead regional sales success from our Johannesburg-based Sales department.

You will organize and control the achievement of sales targets, acquire new business, and report on activities while aligning with the local sales strategy within a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Requires Grade 12 and a 3-year Sales & Marketing qualification at NQF level 5.
• Minimum 5 years sales experience in logistics, with at least 2 in management.
• Experience in sales management in a service-related field.
• Knowledge of international trade principles, tariff concepts, and payment terms.
• Strong CRM and INCO Terms understanding.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
• Client servicing orientation and ability to adapt in changing environments.

This is based in our JHB Sales department.

Education

• Grade 12 Certificate
• 3 year Sales & Marketing related qualification at NQF level 5

Knowledge and experience

• Must have at least 5 years working experience in sales in the logistics industry
• of which at least 2 were in a management capacity.
• Previous Sales Management Experience in a service related field
• Servicing & marketing principles & practice. International Trade principles & practice
• External business environment. Company service charge rates
• Tariff calculation concepts. Company terms of payment
• CRM and INCO Terms
• Carrier & depot conditions of trade. National currencies and international codes
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Lotus Notes)
• Good communication skills (verbal & written)
• Business opportunism
