You will set targets, develop effective strategies and drive profitable growth while collaborating with marketing, operations and product teams in a dynamic FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive FMCG sales experience, incl. 3–5 years in management or leadership.
• Track record of meeting/exceeding national sales targets in competitive markets.
• Strong understanding of sales methodologies, channel and key account management.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
• Ability to travel nationally to support teams and clients.
• Solid understanding of SA FMCG market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets and monitor performance.
• Lead, coach and motivate a national sales team to peak performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with national accounts and distribution partners.
• Identify and pursue new business to expand market share and customer base.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to inform initiatives.
• Manage sales budget and ensure profitable operations.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and product teams on go‑to‑market plans.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
