About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and nurturing Nanny and Educational Support professional to provide comprehensive care and academic assistance for their school-aged child in Mahikeng, North West . This role goes beyond traditional nannying, requiring a candidate who can support homework completion, foster a love for learning, and engage the child in educational activities that complement their school curriculum. The Nanny will be responsible for the child's overall well-being, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment both within the home and during supervised outings. The ideal candidate will be patient, organized, and possess a genuine interest in child development and education. This is a full-time position requiring a consistent presence and a proactive approach to supporting the child's growth and academic success in Mahikeng, North West .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and responsible childcare for a school-aged child.
• Assist with homework, assignments, and projects, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Develop and implement engaging educational activities, games, and reading sessions to supplement school learning.
• Supervise and ensure the child's safety during daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and extracurricular activities.
• Prepare healthy snacks and light meals for the child.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment within the home.
• Engage the child in constructive play and recreational activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child's progress, academic performance, and general well-being.
• Maintain a tidy and organized environment for the child.
• Handle light household tasks directly related to the child's care.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a nanny, tutor, or childcare provider, with a focus on school-aged children.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
