Job summary

The President Hotel in Cape Town seeks an experienced Facilities Technician to maintain a 349-room property across HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical systems. You will perform fault-finding, repairs and planned maintenance with minimal guest disruption.

Red Seal certification and 2–4 years of hotel or commercial property maintenance experience are essential for this hands-on role in a busy, multi-discipline team.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification required and non-negotiable.
• 2–4 years of facilities or building maintenance experience.
• Experience in hotel/commercial environments essential.
• Skilled across HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day facilities maintenance and fault-finding.
• Maintain guest areas, back-of-house spaces and public areas.
• Service HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Complete CMMS job cards and maintenance records.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
