Job summary

The President Hotel in Cape Town is seeking an experienced facilities maintenance technician with a Red Seal to join our hotel operations. You will service HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical and general building systems across guest rooms and public areas, performing fault-finding, repairs and preventative maintenance.

Working closely with other departments, you will ensure safety standards, complete maintenance records in OMNI CMMS, and respond quickly to breakdowns to maintain guest

Qualifications

Red Seal certification (essential) and trade background.
Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems.
Hotel or commercial property maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out day-to-day facilities maintenance and fault-finding.
Maintain guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, conference facilities.
Service HVAC, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Attend to plumbing faults and electrical maintenance.
Complete maintenance records in OMNI CMMS.
Support safety procedures and emergency maintenance.
