Placements24 in Mahikeng is seeking a talented Multimedia Artist and Animator to join the creative team. The role involves creating captivating 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics and illustrations to tell visual stories for arts and entertainment projects.

You will collaborate with directors, producers and other artists to bring concepts to life, while staying current with industry trends in the North West region's developing arts sector. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Multimedia Artist or Animator with a strong portfolio.
• Solid understanding of animation principles, visual design and storytelling.
• Excellent drawing, composition and color theory skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and accept feedback.
• Experience with video editing and sound design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and create 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics and VFX.
• Develop storyboards, concept art and character designs for multimedia projects.
