Job summary

DigiCert in Cape Town, South Africa is seeking a Customer Experience Specialist (French/Spanish/Portuguese speaker) to support customers and internal stakeholders through multiple channels, while conducting authentication and validation for SSL and Code Signing certificates. The role requires attention to detail, collaboration, and a customer-focused approach within a 24/7 CAS team.

Candidates must pass enhanced background screening.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in the native language and any language listed on CV (including English).
• Customer service experience.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree desirable.
• Experience in a policy/compliance role an advantage (banking, finance, fraud, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Review applications for digital certificates and determine eligibility by evaluating information on the organization, policy guidelines, and due care.
• Verify customer company legitimacy and right to use the domain name.
• Assist customers via chat, email, and phone to ensure security requirements are met.
