Job summary

IntelliStaff is seeking an experienced Security Manager to oversee operations across multiple sites in Gauteng. You will supervise approximately 70 security guards, coordinate deployments and ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety requirements.

The role requires matric, PSIRA Grade A or B registration, at least 5 years of management experience, and a valid driver's license with own vehicle.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid PSIRA Grade A or Grade B registration.
• Minimum 5 years’ management experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise approximately 70 security guards across multiple sites.
• Oversee day-to-day security operations and ensure appropriate staffing and deployment.
• Conduct risk assessments across all sites.
• Investigate security, workplace and operational incidents and prepare detailed reports.
• Manage staff performance, attendance, conduct and disciplinary matters.
• Handle employee grievances and workplace-related issues professionally.
• Oversee cleaning staff and ensure sites consistently meet required cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Manage and coordinate Injuries on Duty (IODs), including reporting, documentation and follow-up.
• Ensure company policies, procedures and relevant compliance requirements are adhered to.
