African Sales Company (ASCO) is looking for an experienced eCommerce Merchandiser to own the online product experience across multiple brands. You will manage categories, content, and stock while aligning with brand strategy to grow online sales.

The role requires 3–5 years in eCommerce merchandising, strong data sense, and proficiency with Excel, Google Analytics, and platforms like Magento, Shopify, or WooCommerce. Collaboration with marketing and purchasing teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in an eCommerce visual merchandising role or similar.
• Autonomy to prioritise and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical ability to translate data into actions.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Magento, Shopify, or WooCommerce.
• Experience in luxury retail or beauty preferred.
• Clear written communication and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and maintain categories and collections across online stores.
• Oversee product recommendations and personalisation tools.
• Ensure SKU and label consistency with ERP systems.
• Led end-to-end new product launches and coordinate content requests.
• Collaborate with marketing on listings, promotions, and CI guidelines.
• Ensure active promotions, discounts, and bundles across countries.
• Curate assortments based on best sellers, launches, and promotions.
• Optimize homepage banners, product pages, and cross-sells.
• Monitor stock levels and manage pricing updates via workflows.
• Own merchandising calendar with marketing, content, and email teams.
