Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to join its medical affairs team in the Benoni area. This hybrid role will build long-standing relationships with KOLs, clinicians, and researchers while delivering scientific information and supporting research initiatives in your territory.

The ideal candidate has an advanced life science degree with at least 3 years in an MSL role, strong presentation and communication skills, and a willingness to travel for field activities.

Qualifications

• Advanced life science degree required (MD/PhD/PharmD or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years in an MSL or equivalent scientific exchange role.
• Deep knowledge in a therapeutic area (e.g., oncology, cardiology, immunology).
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
• Engage in scientific exchange and provide in-depth information on products and disease states.
• Support IIS and other research collaborations.
• Gathers insights from KOLs and field for treatment landscapes and needs.
• Represent the company at scientific conferences and advisory boards.
• Contribute to medical strategy and execute medical plans in the territory.
