Placements24 is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to represent its pharmaceutical portfolio in the Soweto region. This field-based role requires extensive travel and direct engagement with the medical community to advance therapeutic understanding and patient care.

You will serve as the primary scientific expert, build relationships with healthcare professionals, discuss data, support research initiatives, and relay clinical insights to internal teams while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

Must hold an advanced degree (MD, PharmD, Ph.D.) in a life science or medical field.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an MSL or in a related medical affairs role in pharma.
Strong understanding of the therapeutic area and clinical practice relevant to the portfolio.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with scientific and medical experts.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary scientific and clinical expert for assigned products within Soweto.
Engage with KOLs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to discuss data, unmet needs, and research opportunities.
Present complex clinical trial data and scientific information clearly.
Identify and support investigators for clinical trials and research studies.
Gather and relay clinical insights, competitive intelligence, and market feedback to internal teams.
Ensure all interactions comply with company policies and regulations.
