Job summary

Mr D, a division of takealot.com, is seeking a Data Integration Traffic Coordinator to join our Cape Town team. You will manage the data integration workflow, coordinate tasks, and ensure accurate capture of restaurant and menu data while collaborating with internal departments and Mr D Food partners.

You will monitor priorities, support reporting initiatives, and assist with training new starters within a fast‑growing group that values learning, collaboration, and delivering results.

Qualifications

• NQF 6 or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years in a data capturing position.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and priority driven task allocation among the data integration team.
• Monitor the data integration workflow according to set priorities and deadlines.
• Monitor and manage the Zendesk ticket workflow.
• Capture restaurant and menu data.
• Maintain relationships with internal departments and Mr D Food’s partners.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and projects.
• Support the Data Integration Team Leader with QA on restaurant data.
• Assist in training new starters.

This position reports to the Data Integration Manager of Mr D.

Purpose of the role

Manages workflow in a company and organizes the transfer ofvarious data.

Your Responsibilities will include:

• Ensure efficient and priority driven task allocation among the data integration team.
• Monitor the data integration workflow according to set priorities and deadlines.
• Monitor and manage the Zendesk ticket workflow.
• Capture restaurant and menu data.
• Maintain close relationships with all relevant internal departments.
• Maintain relationships regarding restaurants’ menus and operational details with Mr D Food’s partners.
• Support with ad-hoc reporting and projects.
• Support the Data Integration Team Leader with quality assurance efforts on a restaurant’s menu and operational data.
• Support the Data Integration Team Leader with the training of new starters.
• Contribute to the development of system and other improvement initiatives.
• Report on restaurant integration performance metrics to the Data Integration Manager.
• Perform Ad-hoc tasks.

• Must be computer literate in MS office packages
• Must have good communication skills and be fluent in English
• Must be able to work overtime when required
