This hybrid role balances focused data work with in-person collaboration and field engagement as needed.

You will lead M&E design, data management, and reporting, train staff on M&E methods, and ensure data quality throughout the process.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years designing and implementing M&E systems in development or non-profit sectors.
  • Strong expertise with quantitative and qualitative data analysis tools (SPSS, R, NVivo).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as International Development or Social Sciences.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client, a prominent international development agency operating in Sandton , is seeking a skilled Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist . This role is essential for ensuring the effectiveness, impact, and accountability of our client's diverse programs across Gauteng and beyond. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust M&E frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, and generating insights to inform program improvement and strategic decision-making. This hybrid role allows for focused work on complex data analysis while also facilitating in-person collaboration and field engagement as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and evaluation frameworks and tools for various projects.
  • Collect, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess program performance and impact.
  • Develop clear and concise M&E reports, findings, and recommendations for program improvement.
  • Provide training and technical support to program staff on M&E methodologies and data collection.
