Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking a Transport Officer (Band 2) to provide driving and maintenance support for mobile Breast Screening units across Grampian, Orkney and Shetland. The role requires a clean driving licence and the ability to diagnose faults and coordinate with contractors. Flexible hours and early starts are essential to cover locations.

Qualifications

• Clean road driving licence (HGV not necessary).
• Knowledge of light mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of generators and hydraulics would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork and flexibility are essential.

• Drive and carry out maintenance on mobile Breast Screening units at various locations.
