Job summary

STOCKPORT TRUCK CENTRE LIMITED is seeking a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to support customer fleets across the North West. The role involves maintenance, routine servicing and mechanical inspections with MOT preparation and hands-on work on commercial vehicles and trailers.

Welding and auto electrical skills are beneficial but not essential, with a company van, fuel card, and overtime on rota. Monday to Friday plus alternate weekends and callouts are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with commercial vehicles and trailers.
• Industry-recognised qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3) or timed served.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, routine servicing and mechanical inspections.
• MOT preparation.
• Working on commercial vehicles & trailers.
