Samancor Chrome Ltd. in Limpopo seeks a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) professional to ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and related acts by conducting inspections, audits and by utilizing the SHEQ systems.

You will lead on-job training, generate reports, monitor contractor SHEQ adherence on site and drive awareness campaigns to improve safety performance across operations.

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate is required.
• Driver’s License and own transport.
• HIRA and Incident Investigations Competence.

Responsabilités

• Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox).
• Utilize IMS to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status.
• Generate SHEQ system reports to ensure legal compliance and other requirements.
• Conduct scheduled audits and inspections as required by legislation and organisational requirements.
• Analyse SHEQ information to identify trends and take action.
• Develop and participate in SHEQ awareness campaigns/Interventions.
• Monitor SHEQ system compliance and contractor compliance on site.
• Provide SHEQ training related to the SHEQ systems.
• Conduct and facilitate incident investigations according to legal requirements and organisational needs.
