Impala Platinum is seeking a Safety Trainer to lead the management of underground training sections under the Mine Health and Safety Act. The role focuses on supervising instructors and trainees to ensure safe operations in a designated underground area.
The candidate should have Grade 12/NQF 4 and at least 3 years of underground development experience, with a medical fitness certificate or ability to obtain one. Preference for candidates meeting the health and safety criteria.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To take charge of gangs, instructors, and trainees to mine a section of the workings of the mine in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act Regulation 8.1 for training purposes.
