Alpha Packaging in Johannesburg, South Africa, seeks dedicated Mine Workers to join our mining team and support the extraction of minerals with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will operate and maintain mining equipment, perform underground and surface mining activities, and work collaboratively to meet production targets while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational mining training is a plus.
• Previous experience in mining or heavy machinery operation is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in mining.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mining equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conduct underground and surface mining activities as directed by supervisors.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Assist in loading, transporting, and processing of mined materials.
• Conduct inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
• Participate in training sessions and safety meetings as required.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
