About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Mine Ventilation Engineer to join their underground mining operations near Polokwane . This role is critical for maintaining a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring optimal airflow, temperature, and air quality within the mine. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the mine's ventilation systems, conducting airflow surveys, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. This is a challenging but rewarding role for an engineer passionate about mine safety and environmental control.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize mine ventilation systems to ensure safe and productive working conditions.
• Conduct regular airflow surveys, dust sampling, and gas monitoring to assess environmental conditions.
• Analyze ventilation data and develop strategies to manage heat, humidity, and air contaminants.
• Specify and oversee the installation and maintenance of ventilation equipment, including fans, ducting, and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to mine ventilation in Limpopo .
• Collaborate with mine planning and production teams to integrate ventilation requirements into mine design and operations.

Requirements
