Qualifications

• Plan activities in accordance with operational and maintenance schedules and allocate resources.
• Responsibility for planning, organizing, leading and controlling materials, equipment, machinery to achieve daily/monthly targets.
• Communicate department recommendations to miners and teams and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Weekly measurements and plotting of advancing faces; take corrective action.
• Conduct planned task observations and risk assessments.
• Supervise all mining activities and ensure legal compliance.
• Perform accident and incident investigations according to standards.
• Ensure correct PPE is worn and unsafe areas are barricaded.
• Report on non-compliance; align mining reporting with standards.
