Qualifications

• National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or Mining.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a safety officer or inspector in the mining industry.
• Thorough knowledge of South African mining safety legislation (e.g., MHSA).
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
• Ability to work independently and conduct thorough investigations.
