Job summary

Sibanye Stillwater seeks an experienced mining planning professional to provide electronic mine design and scheduling activities for shafts in line with statutory and departmental requirements. The role focuses on organizing scheduling requirements, integrating data, and delivering effective planning for shaft operations.

The position requires Grade 12 and mining-related qualifications with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Grade 12 is the minimum educational requirement.
CoM Advanced Survey or CoM Advanced Evaluation or mining-related qualification is required.
At least 3 years of relevant mining experience.
Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
Clear security screening record.
Valid driver’s license if applicable.

Responsibilities

Financial Management: assist in managing department finances to meet objectives.
Design and schedule Capital Projects Working Cost Budgets within parameters.
Formulate monthly and annual budgets; drive cost savings and cash conservation.
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across the organisation and externally.
Ensure open communication channels with stakeholders and resolve queries.
Support the execution of the segment development plan and culture initiatives.
Maintain SHE compliance and participate in risk assessments and safety meetings.
Test and implement planning systems and update data on Surpac.
