Job summary

Deswik in Johannesburg is seeking a Mining Consultant to help shape how the industry uses its planning platform. You will work with South Africa’s leading mine planning software, Deswik, across multiple operations and studies.

You will deliver mine planning and optimisation solutions, influence decisions from life-of-mine strategy to day-to-day execution, and grow consulting, technical and leadership skills that span sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of onsite experience in mining
• Underground planning experience is required
• Strong technical capability and problem-solving skills
• Consulting mindset with ability to influence and build trust
• Willingness to travel to support sites across SA
