Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering is required.
• GCC Mines and Works is required.
• 5 to 10 years of mining engineering experience requested.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools required.
• Knowledge of opencast mines, plant and underground.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize mining operations while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage resource extraction and implement efficient techniques to maximize production.
• Lead risk assessments, COPs, and SOPs and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain equipment, spare parts, and maintenance plans; liaise with suppliers.
• Prepare monthly management reports and participate in production meetings.
