Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a seasoned Millwright to maintain site machinery, perform planned maintenance, and support electrical and mechanical upgrades. You will dismantle, assemble, align, and move equipment, install foundations, and test systems to ensure optimal operation.

Essential candidates have Matric and a Millwright certificate with 3–5 years of hands‑on experience, plus strong mechanical and electrical skills, VSD/PLC familiarity, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Millwright trade test certificate is required.
• 3-5 years relevant experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical background.
• VSD, PLC and automation experience.
• Able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Dismantled machinery or equipment.
• Assembled, installed and aligned equipment and machinery.
• Moved machinery and equipment.
• Constructed foundation for machines.
• Repaired and lubricated machinery and equipment.
• Repaired basic electrical circuitry and components.
• Tested units to evaluate electrical & mechanical operations.
• Set programmable logic circuits (PLCs).
