Job summary

Innovazi Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking a hands-on Millwright to support plant reliability across multiple sites in South Africa. The role involves mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs, with involvement in commissioning of plants and equipment to ensure continuous operations.

The ideal candidate has a recognised Millwright trade test and at least 3 years of experience, with strong mechanical and electrical capabilities, and a working knowledge of industrial control

Qualifications

• Millwright trade test/apprenticeship is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience.
• Experience with mechanical equipment (decanters, centrifuges, blowers, pumps) and electrical controls.
• Comfort with PLCs, VSDs and motor control circuits is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on site.
• Fault finding and repairs to ensure plant reliability.
• Assist in commissioning of plants and equipment and support across multiple sites.

An established engineering and industrial solutions provider is seeking a qualified Millwright to join their team. The role involves mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and support with commissioning of plants and equipment, ensuring reliable operations across multiple sites.

Minimum Requirements

• Recognised Millwright trade test/apprenticeship.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Mechanical expertise on decanters, centrifuges, blowers, and pumps.
• Electrical experience with control panels, industrial electronics, PLCs, VSDs, and motors.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Valid driver’s license.
• N3 in Water and Wastewater (advantageous).
