Apex Group Ltd in Cape Town seeks a Middle Office Analyst to support day-to-day operations within the Middle Office Team. You will manage workflow from Fund Managers and Prime Brokers, produce NAVs, handle P&L reporting, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure accurate trade booking while contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s qualification in Accounting, Finance or Investment.
• Quantitative degree with accounting major.
• Knowledge of NAV calculation and reconciliation processes beneficial.
• Comfortable with working with big Excel data sets (macros and automation beneficial).

Responsabilidades

• Manage the workflow from Fund Managers and Prime Brokers.
• Produce soft portfolio NAVs.
• Daily Profit & Loss reporting.
• Mandate compliance reporting and loading of corporate actions.
• Daily recons of discrepancies between Middle Office and Prime Brokers reporting.
• Accurate and timely booking of trades into Middle Office system.
• Involvement in ad hoc projects and assignments aimed towards improving the process efficiencies.

Educación

Bachelor’s qualification in Accounting, Finance or Investment

Quantitative degree with accounting major

Knowledge of NAV calculation and reconciliation processes

Comfortable with big Excel data sets (macros/automation beneficial)
