Job summary

MOYO is seeking a mid-level BI Analyst to translate data into actionable insights across the full BI lifecycle, from requirements to data modelling and reporting. The role emphasizes strong business engagement and delivering reliable analytics to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of BI-related experience, solid SQL skills, and familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, and data warehousing concepts to support data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience as a BI Analyst, Database Developer, or similar role
• Solid understanding of database design and data analytics (preferably Power BI)

MID LEVEL BI ANALYST

The BI Analyst is responsible for translating data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making. The role involves working across the full BI lifecycle, including requirements gathering, data modelling, report development, and ongoing optimisation of reporting solutions.

This role requires a strong balance between technical capability and business engagement, with a focus on delivering reliable, high-quality insights to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification (degree, diploma, or certificate) in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Informatics, or Data Analytics)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• 4+ years' experience as a BI Analyst, Database Developer, or similar role
• Solid understanding of database design and data analytics (preferably Power BI)

At least 3+ years' experience in most of the below tools/technologies:

• Power BI and/or Tableau
• MS SQL
• SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
• Exposure to Big Data tools (e.g., Hive, Spark, etc.)
• Exposure to predictive analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Alteryx)
• Data warehousing, data consolidation, and reporting
