Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer (Level 2) in Cape Town to design, develop, and deploy advanced reporting. You will transform data into actionable insights, delivered via reports using BI tools of choice.

You will drive BI initiatives, manage ETL/data integration, and collaborate with stakeholders while aligning with business goals. Requires 4+ years in BI and Power BI expertise.

Qualifications

• A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification in statistics, finance, maths, CS, IS, data or engineering.
• At least 4 years' experience implementing BI solutions delivering business benefits.
• At least 4 years' experience in data analysis, ETL, and data modeling.
• At least 4 years' experience with SQL (Postgres, MySQL, MS SQL).
• Experience managing projects from planning to timeline management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced reporting and analytical solutions.
• Turn data into actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Lead BI initiatives from scope to delivery and budgeting where applicable.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor colleagues on BI best practices.
