About the Role

Our client, a prominent mining and minerals processing company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Metallurgist specializing in concentration processes to join their team in Mossel Bay, Western Cape . This role is critical for optimizing the recovery and quality of valuable minerals from ore. The successful candidate will be responsible for process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives within the concentration plant. You will apply your extensive knowledge of mineral processing techniques, including comminution, flotation, gravity separation, and magnetic separation, to enhance plant performance and economic efficiency. This position requires a blend of theoretical understanding and practical, hands-on experience in a mineral processing environment within the Mossel Bay, Western Cape area.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize concentration processes (e.g., flotation, gravity, magnetic separation) to maximize mineral recovery and concentrate grade.
