Job summary

The Building Company in Somerset West is seeking a Merchandiser to ensure stock is correctly located, binned and displayed, and that racks and display systems are clean and maintained. This role focuses on customer service and accurate stock handling to support store performance.

You will manage customer interactions, support sales targets, handle stock administration, and keep merchandising standards high while promoting company values. Grade 12 and 1–2 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• 1 year’s shelf packing/merchandising experience.
• Knowledge of general building material environment is essential.
• Proven success in personal selling and achieving sales targets.
• Ability to manage and coordinate regular stock takes.
• Interact with customers.
